Wonderfully located near the Interlaken Ost train station, with a view of the world-famous Jungfrau massif, the surrounding Bernese Alps and the leisurely flowing Aare river. Interlaken and its surroundings enchant with a dreamlike setting, nestled between Lakes Thun and Brienz.

Guests have been welcomed in the former Carlton (Brünig et l'Univers) and Villa Europe hotels since 1898. The two hotels can look back on a tradition of over 120 years. With a lot of passion, the Bernessis Hotel AG, under the management of Stephan JJ. Maeder, and led the resort to new splendour with a new building and annual renovations. Since 2006, the hotel has been run as the Carlton-Europe Vintage Hotel.
