Built in 1848, the Hotel Furka in Oberwald in Goms is a traditional family business and has since been owned by the 6th generation of the Spranzi & Nanzer family.

The hotel is located directly on the Furka road at the foot of the Alpine passes Furka, Grimsel and Nufenen in the canton of Valais (Switzerland). Of course, the Hotel Furka is also accessible by train.

The hotel is an ideal starting point to explore the beautiful area on foot or with cross-country skis. All rooms are with shower, WC, radio & WLAN. Of which 4 double rooms and one suite with balcony.

Only cash payment in Swiss Francs.

In summer, in addition to hiking, biking, racing bike pass rides and river rafting, steam train rides over the Furka River are an experience.
The Goms cross-country ski run runs right past the house. Numerous marked snowshoe trails lead you on a total length of 27 km through the beautiful Goms mountain world.
