The Kartause Ittingen is a former Carthusian monastery and is located - embedded in the idyllic Thur landscape and surrounded by magnificent gardens - in Warth near Frauenfeld. It is one of the most important cultural monuments in the Lake Constance region and combines monastic values such as culture, spirituality, education, care, hospitality and self-sufficiency in a unique way. Behind the old monastery walls are the Thurgau Art Museum, the Ittingen Museum, a hotel with 68 rooms, the Restaurant Mühle with a lovely garden restaurant and a variety of seminar rooms and banquet halls. The monastery's own estate vineyard, market garden, cheese dairy and butchery, a fish farm and a wood-fired bakery supply over 200 products, which are served to our guests and sold in the monastery shop.

Culture, nature, culinary delights: a wide range of activities - from top-class classical concerts and exciting courses to various tours - make Kartause Ittingen an attractive destination all year round.
