About this hotel
With a short excursion into the history of our 430-year-old house, we would like to put you in the mood for our pensiun. Pensiun, by the way, because that is the usual Rhaeto-Romanic usage here in the Engadine.
The Chesa Pool was built in 1585 as a year-round farmhouse by order of Baptista von Salis, a nobleman known beyond the Engadine. It is housed in a historic building typical of the Engadine and offers rooms with panoramic views of the mountains.
In the restaurant we serve only vegetarian dishes (vegan also possible).
The surroundings of the Chesa Pool are the Fex Valley. Perfect nature, silver light, powerful granite. A magical place. The Val Fex is car-free and reserved only for nature and its guests.
Our hotel shuttle runs free of charge three times a day. Please register for the trip at least one day in advance. The shuttle does not run without occupancy and without registration.
