For the first time, Vancouver’s Ballet BC is performing in Winterthur. The renowned Canadian company is one of the country’s leading contemporary dance ensembles and captivates audiences worldwide with its distinctive artistic style.
The evening at Winterthur Theatre presents three works by internationally renowned choreographers. In «Frontier», Crystal Pite explores the unknown and the invisible forces that move us. In «SWAY», Medhi Walerski, inspired by Emily Dickinson, creates a fluid and poetic language of movement filled with lightness and hope.
The evening concludes with «Obsidian» by Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber – an intense and sensual work accompanied live by pianist Perri Lo. Look forward to an exceptional evening filled with expression, precision and emotional intensity.
