The castle of Thun
On the castle hill above the town, the imposing 12th century building is enthroned. It is only a few minutes' walk from the old town. From here you have a fantastic view over the city.
The Aarequai is themain promenade in Thun. The beautiful path along the Aare and Lake Thun offers views of Schadau Castle. The enchanting 19th century castle resembles a fairytale palace.
